Brass on chancel arch, north side, close to pulpit; Gothic capitals with red highlights

In memory of Richard FARLEY, who
having been parish clerk and sexton
of Benenden for 27 years, died
suddenly on the 12^th February 1874, aged 57.
The Vicar of the parish, William John EDGE,
hereby records his grief for the loss of
one whom he greatly esteemed, and who for
nearly sixteen years was his constant and
faithful assistant in all the services of
this house of God.
