Haslewood records: In the chancell window (Benenden) is this writing:

Orate pro animabus Johanis BRENCHLEY et Willmi MORE.

On the gravestone in Mores Chapel in Benenden:

Hic jacet Wateri More Armigeri qui obijt 24 die mensis Martij ano 1504 et Aliciae uxor dicti Walteri quae obijt. quor aiabs ppitietur deus.
