A headstone with unusual decorative features; the shoulders shaped with three receding bands coming down to turn inwards in nine 'fingers', while at the top the stone rises in a Gothic arch enclosing a mitre shape, the whole giving the impression of a figure or cloak embracing the stone.
"Thy will be done". In affectionate remembrance of Peter PINYON, Esqre, surgeon, of this parish, who died December 31st 1873 aged 42 years, universally respected, leaving a widow and one son, George-Beale. Also of Fanny Witherden, wife of the above Peter PINYON, who died April 14th 1884 aged 49 years.
