A tall stone with sinuous top (three central rounds and rosettes on the shoulders); the inscription in large letters, but with the poem italicised:
Mary, Wife of John SPARKS, who departed this life Jany18th 1807 aged 42 years. Affliction sore, Two years I bore; Physicians were in vain. The Lord did please to call me hence And ease me of my pain.
