A tall stone with a half round top checked above decorated shoulders, much weathered:
to the memory of Thos Elcock BUCKLAND, son of William and Rebecca BUCKLAND of this parish, who died November the 23rd 1814 in the 31st year of his age. I was cut down in my prime, And you my Friends I leave behind, Prepare for Death without delay, I suddenly was call'd away: Death doth not always warning give, Therefore be careful how you live; On Christ alone your Souls rely, That precious bleeding Sacrifice.
