A tall stone with oval top scalloped each side, close to the Old Vicarage garden:

Sacred
to the memory of
Ann, Widow of
Mr W. MASTERS of Rolvenden,
formerly the wife of Mr J. SPARKS
of this Parish,
And for twenty years a faithful Servant
and friend to the family of
Thomas Law HODGES, Esqre,
late of Hemsted.
She departed this life
in humble hope of a blessed Resurrection
through the merits of her Redeemer
on the 4th of September 1860,
Aged 77 years.
"Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord".
