A tall stone, with central rosette at top flanked by wide ogee shoulders, leaning to the south:
John BUSBRIDGE of Staplehurst, who departed this Life May the 2nd 1816 aged 72 Years. Also Jane, Wife of the said John BUSBRIDGE, who departed this Life July the 19th 1817 aged 52 years. Left Issue: Two Sons and two Daughters, (viz) John, William, Mary and Ann. "Be serious Friend to watch the great affair, T'will be too late when thou art lodged here".
