Haslewood describes a very large upright stone, in head of which are engraved two figures, also an angel blowing a trumpet , but it had disappeared by 1975:
In Memory of Mary, wife of Samuel SANTER of this Parish, Daughter of Edwd and Judith HAINS, she died Decr 19th 1794 Aged 18 Years. Left Issue one Son, Edward. Here lies Intomb'd beneath Earths cold bed, She that for whom ten Thousand tears was shed; Her parents dear could not refrain, Weeping though Weeping it was in vain: Now her dear soul hath taken flight, Borne up by Angels to the Realms of light; Her infant dear she left behind, And A Youthful Husband that was kind; Her Years were few, her Grief the less; Blame not her haste to happiness also of Judith HAINS aforesaid, who died December 17th 1813 Aged 66 Years.
