In memory of Richard BUTCHER of this parish, carp- enter, who died April ye 17th 1769 aged 75 years.
On the right-hand side:
Here lyeth ye body of Elizth, wife of Richard BUTCHER, & daughr of David HARLOCK, both of ye parish. She died August ye 2 1739 in ye 35th year of her age.
Across both sides:
Had issue 8 children, of whom 4 survive, John, Elizth, Thos and Mary. In memory of one of the best of wives.
