Tall wide stone, the surface and MI obliterated by white lichen; an elaborate carving at the top looks like a representation of the resurrection, the dead figure rising centrally under the broken cover of a tomb, with angelic figures to left and right
In memory of George MOORE of this parish who died December the 21 1719 aged 55 years. Also Mary his wife died May the 8th 1771 aged 87 years. Likewise in memory of one son and two daughters. Elizth died October the 18th 1785 aged 72 years. Samuel died October the 10 1786 aged 68 years. Mary died April the 3rd 1782 aged 78 years.
Haslewood p117 but burial registers have (a) George MOORE buried 28 Dec 1749 (b) Susannah MOORE buried 13 May 1771 (c) Mary Moore buried 7 April 1787 and no Mary in 1782.
