Table top tomb with ornamented sides, the slab much worn; the inscriptions on the north side and west end now hard to read, neither recorded by Haslewood. On the north side:
Here lyeth the body of William KIPPING of this parish son of Walter KIPPING who dyed the 17 of June 1689 being aged [?35?] years
On the broken north end panel:
[Here lyeth the body of] William [KIPPING] the elder of [this] [pa]rish who [dyed] [__]th of Augu[st 1689] being aged 76 [years]
Registers have William Snr (Householder) buried 12 Aug 1689. William Jnr (Yeoman) 18 June 1689
