In memory of James ATWOOD, who was Master of the free school in this parish 34 years, and of Lydia his wife. He died Janry the 27th 1761 aged 62 years. She died Novr the 26th 1756 aged 63 years. They left behind them six children, namely Willm, Thos, John, Lydia, Mary and Jane, of whom Thos is since deceased and lies interr.d close by this stone. He died Sepr the 29th 1761 aged 38 years.
