A substantial triple headed stone, mottled and flaking, the MI now barely visible. On the left-hand column:

Here lyeth

CROTHALL,
late of this
parish, farmer.
He died the

1738 aged
70 years.

On the central column:

Also ye body
of Robert,
son of John
CROTHALL by
Mary his wife.
He was also
a farmer
and a person
well esteemed
by all
that knew him.
He died ye 27th
of April 1748
in the 45th yer
of his age.

On the right-hand column:

Here also
lyeth ye body
of Mary,
wife of ye said
John
CROTHALL,
who died the
14 of Feby
1751 aged
83 years.

memory by Richard CROTHALL.
